The German Bundesliga side RB Leipzig has announced that Dani Olmo has signed a new contract, keeping the Uruguayan winger at the club until 2024.

Olmo, who joined RB Leipzig in January 2019 from River Plate, has made 67 appearances for the club and scored eight goals. He was also part of the team that won the Europa League last season.

In his latest interview with ESPN, Olmo expressed his happiness to be staying at the club, saying: "I'm very happy to have extended my contract with RB Leipzig. I love this club and everything it represents. I feel like I'm part of something special here."

The Uruguayan winger's signing by RB Leipzig marked one of the most significant signings in the history of the club. His arrival helped RB Leipzig to win the Europa League title last season, which is a major achievement for the club.

RB Leipzig manager Ralf Rangnick praised Olmo's performances during his time at the club, saying: "Dani Olmo is a player we've been following closely since he arrived at RB Leipzig. He's a talented young winger who brings a lot of energy and creativity to our team."
