Al Rayyan FC have announced that their star player, Abdullah Al-Zahrani, has suffered a serious injury during training.

The 28-year-old midfielder sustained an ankle injury in the team's recent match against Al-Arabi and is expected to be out for several weeks.

The club's medical staff are currently working on Al-Zahrani's rehabilitation process and hope he will make a full recovery soon.

In addition to his injury, Al-Zahrani also tested positive for COVID-19 before the start of the season and was subsequently isolated from the squad.

Despite these setbacks, Al-Rayyan FC remain hopeful that they can overcome this challenge and continue to compete at the highest level of football in Qatar.
